Mobile Technical Solutions Consultant, Google Technical Services Publishers (Opening in Google Gurgaon for Mobile Technical Solutions)

Google Technical Services Publishers creates and sustains technical relationships with Google's publisher partners by helping them monetize their content and enabling advertisers to reach the users of publishers' web, mobile and video properties. We are responsible for providing support and insights for partners while incubating new solutions for partner and user support. We want to grow our team with people who will share our dedication to providing an optimal experience for our publisher partners.

Mobile Solution Consultants (MSC) are specialists with a passion for everything mobile. MSCs work across buy and sell side and help protect and grow partner businesses by being consultants and trusted advisors, and leverage Google’s full suite of cutting edge products and technologies.
This year, we are focusing on improving the mobile web experience for Google’s top partners across the buy and sell side using a highly consultative approach. Our goal is to solve key issues for our partners such as user acquisition, retention, conversions etc. using cutting edge Google technology and methods such as Performance Audits, AMP, Progressive Web Apps, Web Payment and Login APIs.

Our team cares for customers by solving problems and scaling solutions, incubating new Google products, and sharing user feedback with internal teams to influence product development. We support a wide variety of products, from Ads to Project Fi and just about everything in between, and our customers include advertisers, consumers, partners, publishers, retailers, and our own Sales Googlers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, drive, and optimize the user experience, engagement and business growth for top partners by leveraging Google technologies
• Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges
• Improve mobile app product offerings by providing client feedback on features to Product Management and Engineering

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in web development (e.g. mobile) along with hands on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS etc.
• Experience consulting. Experience breaking down and simplifying problems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Working knowledge of the major tools and technologies used by and the challenges facing web developers.
• Deep knowledge in one or more of the following areas: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, web frameworks.
• Data analysis and good data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to distill disparate observations into cohesive white papers and trend reports.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and tinker with mobile technology.
